These look very interesting. Is there any way for US retail investors to purchase these names? It doesn't look like you can buy them on Schwab, Fidelity, or IBKR.
I asked some investor friends here, and the only way they knew of was to have a local brokerage account. Nowadays, that's similar to opening a bank account; hence, it's very hard if you don't live here. If I find out some other info, I'll let you know.
Thank you! That's a good question, and unfortunately, I don't have a good answer. As you mention, the big global online brokers don't appear to offer access. I recently talked to a Swedish investor who had invested in Thai stocks before, placing phone orders through a Swedish broker. Though he said he could no longer access Thailand (for about 5 years). So, unfortunately, it seems hard to get access at the moment. Will ask around a bit and let you know if I find out something.
